In an interview with the Jülich Supercomputing Centre, Jaka Vodeb explains in simple words how quantum computers can contribute to our understanding of the Universe. He discusses if we should be worried about the possibility of a phase transition to a “true vacuum” and what insights quantum computing can offer in exploring such fundamental questions.
