Thin-film NbN is a core material for superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors (SNSPDs) and microwave resonators, yet its key parameters are typically fixed once the film is deposited and patterned. Here we show a new method to tune NbN-based devices in situ, by implementing electrostatic doping.
