Dr. Igor Vaskivskyi
Igor Vaskivskyi investigates emergent phenomena in correlated quantum materials using advanced ultrafast spectroscopy and resonant EUV polarimetry. His work focuses on metastable states, nonthermal phase transitions, and ultrafast control of magnetic and electronic order. He leads the development of novel instrumentation for time-resolved EUV spectroscopies and imaging, including spatial light modulators and polarization-resolved detection schemes.
His research combines precision optical engineering with fundamental condensed matter physics, bridging lab-scale experiments with large-scale facility research, aiming to uncover new mechanisms for quantum state manipulation and memory functionality.
