Dynamics of Quantum matter

We explore non-equilibrium many-body dynamics in quantum systems that experience symmetry-breaking, topological, or jamming transitions. These systems encompass superconductors, charge-density wave, and magnetic materials.

Experimental Soft Matter Physics

The research is conducted within the “Light and Matter” research program. The interaction of light with matter is one of the most important fields of physics and optical processes are indispensable in many branches of modern industry.

32. Days of JOŽEF STEFAN

March 18 - 23, 2024 , Jamova 39

Every year we look forward to enriching our scientific community with this extraordinary event that brings the exchange of ideas, new insights, and inspiring conversations. This year’s Jožef Stefan days promise an extremely varied range of lectures, workshops and interactive sessions, which will cover the latest achievements in science, technology and research. This year, the 32nd Jožef Stefan Days are being held in honor of the memory of the famous Slovenian physicist Jožef Stefan, born on March 24, to popularize science.
