Dynamics of Quantum matter

We explore non-equilibrium many-body dynamics in quantum systems that experience symmetry-breaking, topological, or jamming transitions. These systems encompass superconductors, charge-density wave, and magnetic materials.

Experimental Soft Matter Physics

The research is conducted within the “Light and Matter” research program. The interaction of light with matter is one of the most important fields of physics and optical processes are indispensable in many branches of modern industry.

Home / Facilities & Labs / Auxilary facilities

Auxilary facilities

In addition to our different specialty labs we also count on auxiliary facilities.

Chemical lab

The chemical lab with standard tools and commonly used chemicals is available. It includes various equipment starting from hot plates, furnaces to flow boxes, etc.

Sample growth

Our research is baked by the strong in-house sample growth. This includes the growth of transition metal dichalcogenides. The whole set of equipment is available for growing various crystals.

Mechanical workshop

We are experimentalists, which means we sometimes want to use things not in the way they are supposed to be used. For such occasions, the small mechanical workshop is available for quick tweaking so “everything fits”. It includes drilling machines, CNC, 3D printers, and other equipment.
